This was my first shed kit and now that it's up I must say it was a very good experience. The parts that came from the Best Barns factory were excellent. Really nice wood all cut perfectly. The wood that came from Home Depot was ok but had some pretty warped pieces in the load. I expected that as that's the way the big stores get rid of their bad wood. If I had one word of advice it would be to follow the directions as they are written. I tried a few short cuts but soon learned that there's a reason they wrote the directions the way they did. I built this shed 100% by myself but will admit a second set of hands would have been useful, lots of heavy lifting involved. Best Barns used R&L trucking for delivery and that part was a very bad experience. They showed up with a tractor trailer on Friday afternoon and told me the pieces were too big to get off the truck, even with their liftgate. I called the warehouse, talked to the dispatcher and he told me the same thing and said they were going to send it back to the factory. Finally got hold of somebody from Best Barns on Monday morn and they fixed it so R&L would redeliver it that week on a different truck. This driver got part of the load off and told me the same thing, too heavy. Also neither of his pallet jacks would fit under the pallets. I had to get on the truck myself and open the boxes and unload piece by piece. Even with the negative stuff I would highly recommend a Best Barns shed.
