I am happy with the final product but the instructions said assembly would take 2 hours. It took us 7 1/2 hours and the instructions were a bit confusing. We had to disassemble the first 9 steps because we had some of the bars facing the wrong direction. Again, the instructions were confusing, so pay attention to which way the seams on the bars are supposed to face. Also, we needed additional tools: needle nose pliers and regular pliers to hold the nuts in place while tightening the bolts.
