Ordered this shed from Sheds for Less Direct. Delivery time after ordering took longer than expected. We had a concrete slab installed for additional cost since we wanted to make sure that everything would be straight and level. The shed came packed nicely in 2 boxes. Everything was packed well. After unpacking and reading through the directions the nightmare started. I am not a novice to building. I have built decks and swing sets from scratch. have assembled many desks, wall units, metal Arrow sheds, etc from many companies so I kinda know what I am doing. The instructions from Lifetime are terrible. More than half of the panels are either not labeled at all or are labeled something other than what the instructions show. Adding to this confusion is that the directions are not clear. You have to try to figure things out on your own. This resulted in having the shed half way done and then dismantling it and starting over after realizing that we put it together wrong. This is pure negligence on the manufacture's part. There are links to videos which are helpful. Only problem is that the videos do not always follow the same steps as the directions. Adding to the problem is that some instructions and videos are not there at all. Again - you just have to try to figure it out. I now know why Lifetime's recommended installers wanted app $500 to install.
Another major flaw is the door assembly. You have to try to hold the doors in place while trying to get the connecting Entry Gable into position. The door assembly requires 2 cotter pins on the bottom. We were only able to get 1 in. The other was impossible. The Entry Gable is supposed to fit over the door and into the Roof Truss. It would not slide down all the way leaving a slight gap on the top. There are also 2 drainage plates that need to be installed. Unfortunately the instructions are so poor that we had no idea where they go or how to install.
The only reason I gave 3 stars and not less is that the finished product looks nice and hopefully will last.
All in all it took 2 people - sometimes 3 about 10-12 hours to put together.
