separator I bought this composter because it is elevated and it rotates. I have years of experience with composting, mostly with turning piles by hand. I even built a rotating version but it was a lot of work to build and the drum rusted out pretty quickly.

I assembled this one by myself in about an hour and a half. A second person would have greatly reduced the time and effort required. The instructions are well written and easy to follow. I haven't had it in service long enough to produce my first batch yet so I can't comment on how well it composts. Mine is loaded up with about 80 lbs of green waste which the drum is handling with ease.
