We love our Palram patio cover. It is nice to be able to sit on our deck when it rains. We have the clear roof panels which let in a lot of light. Sometimes it gets very sunny so we put our umbrella up under the patio cover. The deck is now like an extension of the house. We have furniture and curtains up. I no longer have to run and put cushions away when it rains. Now we can entertain out there when it rains.

There are a few drawbacks.
1). The instructions are very poor. There are some pictures, but no descriptions of how to assemble. My son, my husband, and I put the cover up in about 5 hours.
2.) The gutter is very shallow and overflows when it rains hard. I put up outdoor drapes. That helps a little with that problem. There is not enough room between the ribs of the cover and the gutter for the water to flow underneath the ribs.
3.) It is a little difficult to hose leaves off of the top of the cover. We now use our pool cleaner vacuum pole that is extendable and put a towel on it to remove any tree debris from the cover.

I purchased stick on hooks so that I can hang my wind chimes from the rafters and I added a row of outdoor lights.
Try not to touch the roof panels when you are installing them. If the sun is shining brightly you can see all of the fingerprints
The patio cover looks really good and is sturdy.

I would purchase this product again.
